An opinion is the written outcome of an investigation, carried out by the Dutch Equal Treatment Commission (CGB), of a specific case of alleged differentiation. It is the result of a procedure between two parties. The parties are named the petitioner and the respondent.
Both parties receive the opinion by mail. In the document is described whether the respondent has acted in contravention with the equal treatment laws. Sometimes a recommendation is made.
All opinions from the Dutch Equal Treatment Commission are published (in Dutch) on this website.
