Advies 2009/08: Comments on the combined fourth and fifth Dutch report on The implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights

In this report the ETC (The Dutch Equal Treatment Commission) would like to draw attention to a number of issues that are related to equal treatment and equal treatment legislation and that the ETC considers issues of interest. These are the following issues:

1. Economic, social and cultural rights in relation to other non-discrimination grounds, e.g. Age, Disability and Sexual Orientation, with respect to, inter alia, the labour market and health care services
2. Ethnic minority women and the labour market, including the impact of the headscarf and language requirements, and access to services and social and cultural life
3. Pregnancy and Equal Pay for women
